retouched images

This scan was one of my most difficult files to work from because the transparency wasn't developed correctly, leaving a yellow cast on the entire image. I relied heavily on the selective color, curves, levels, and a few masks were made in quick mask mode.
The original scan I was working on had scratches on the transparency, which I have outlined in green circles. By using the clone stamp method I was able to eliminate almost all of the noise. The few vertical lines that are left could not be detected due to the canvas texture.
The file on the left was the raw scan that I started working from. Through a combination of contrast, selective color, and curves I succesfully matched the color target for printing on canvas.

For an album cover I took this image from the internet and modified it my liking. I used a combination clone stamping and brush tools to clean up the Radio Shack logo and remove the text above.

As a joke i took a photo of my girlfriend and created a fake logo with her image. While this is only recreational task it does exhibit my abilities to alter an image and replicate its layout.
